Science Week 2015 at Goonengerry Public School was filled with printing, ink, screens and bags.
After an extensive unit of work on sustainability, which included cleaning up Federal Park, a Trip to the Tip, Energy Audits and a visit by the Energy Trailer from Dorroughby Environment Education Centre, the students decided to try to help our Goonengerry/Federal community go "Plastic Free".
Starting from the very beginning the children have driven the project. All students have designed the artwork, layout, creating a screen using light sensitive photographic emulsion, printing, and heat sealing the bags.
Our bags are now available for sale in the School Office or at Federal Store.
